I just replied in your older discussion about messages not being decrypted.

I wonder if this issue here is related.

We've not heard of the case you describe here. We've hard rare reports about a message not being encrypted with the recipients public key resulting in a message that can not be decrypted on the receiving end.

But what you describe is the other way around: it seems in your case your own public key is not used for encryption.

Could you try two things: install our latest nightly (link in your other discussion) and temporarily remove your homebrew version of gpg.

Then let me know if you are still running into situations where a sent message is not encrypted with your own public key.

All the best,

I checked and I actually don’t have the Homebrew GPG installed… The issue is still happening even with an email I sent last night… very odd. I will try the following:

Uninstalling MacGPG, downloading latest nightly (I currently have Version 3.0 (4ebfd2f), Build 1251n installed.

I will monitor and see if any emails are still unencrypted, and will revert back.

Thanks,
