GPG permissions denied

Hi,

I need help. I installed GPG Suite on my mac, tried to create a public key but got the following message.

Im not sure if its a root/user issue or how to fix this.

ANy help would be great.

Generate new key failed! (Unknown system error)
Code = 65535

Error text:
gpg: failed to create temporary file /Users/Chriso/.gnupg/.#lk0x10050.Chriss-MacBook-Air.local.5551': Permission denied gpg: keyblock resource/Users/Chris/.gnupg/secring.gpg': General error
gpg: failed to create temporary file /Users/Chriso/.gnupg/.#lk0x103ff0.Chriss-MacBook-Air.local.5551': Permission denied gpg: keyblock resource/Users/Chris/.gnupg/pubring.gpg': General error
can't open /Users/Chris/.gnupg/random_seed': Permission denied gpg: failed to create temporary file/Users/Chriso/.gnupg/.#lk0x10000.Chriss-MacBook-Air.local.5551': Permission denied
gpg: can't connect to the agent: Permission denied
gpg: problem with the agent: No agent running
gpg: no writable public keyring found: Unknown system error
gpg: key generation failed: Unknown system error
note: random_seed file not updated

   Hi Chris,

   welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.

   Can you please try to repair permissions and then check if that improves the situation. To do that

   • download and install Onyx
   • launch Onyx
   • select "Automation" and select all three "Maintenance" options
   • press "Execute"to start
   • once the process is done, restart your system
