clearly. I am not having a problem using GPG tools. What I’m
looking for is a description of how the encryption - decryption
process works. Specifically, I’m trying to figure out the
relationship between and uses of a public key and a private
key.</p>

<p>Additionally, this <a href="https://gpgtools.tenderapp.com/kb/how-to/introduction-to-cryptography">
KB-article</a> explains the basics of public key cryptography. It's
a long text but worth the time.</p>
