Would it be possible to have an option, within GPGTools configuration, that would allow an auto-check on public keyservers everytime a user is writting a new email to a destinatory who's key/email pair is not in the user's keyring so that the email can be cyphered without having to do a manual "public key" lookup on key server with the destinatory email before writting the email.

    Hey stman,

thanks for taking the time to write up this question / feature request!

We already have a feature request to add key lookup while composing a new mail and I've added your comments and vote to it. The number of votes is one factor that helps us to determine what feature to add next.

Unfortunately there's no workaround for this problem at the time being. We're very sorry for that. This discussion will be updated however, when the requested feature is available.

    Have a nice day,
    steve

    Thank you for your reply.

Please note that as I am a Mac OS X experienced developer, I would agree to contribute to the project and participate in coding this new functionality with the contributors to the project.

    Kind regards,

    Hi stman,

thank you very much for your offer. We'll be very happy to get back to you, once we have figured out how the workflow and UI for this feature should look like.

    All the best,
    steve
