GPG Mail: Ventura upgrade - No plugin visible and cannot encrypt emails before sending
Which of our tools is giving you problems?GPC 7
Attach a screenshot of the version info for all installed components (how to: https://gpgtools.tenderapp.com/kb/faq/where-can-i-find-version-info...):
Describe your problem. Add as much detail as possible. Hi, two issues
1. Upgraded to Ventura then GPC7, the instructions says
Make sure GPG Mail is enabled in Mail › Preferences › General › Manage Plug-ins…
But mail now has setting and not preferences and if i click on extensions, its blank?
see attachment
- when i send an email, its sent before the encryption box comes up, then the box appears. Email is received un-encrypted?
Any suggestions on how to get it working?
What did you expect instead
Describe steps leading to the problem.
Are you using any other Mail.app plugins?

Click on the "Manage Plug-in" button on the "General" tab to see and activate the plug-in. You don't have to touch the "Extensions" tab.

Thanks, all resolved and now working.
Looks like it was taking advantage of the undo send feature and delayed the send till i signed, that's working now.
oeichhorn helped confirmed the plug in is active, even though its not in extensions.
Thanks, please close

Hi Ian,
thank for getting in touch.
You are right about the switch in terminology. After Apple has moved from Preferences to Settings we have updated all relevant KB-articles today.
Since this is a public discussion, I have removed your attachment, as it included your activation code.
Thanks oeichhorn for helping out here.
Ian, you can easily test your setup by sending yourself an encrypted and signed test email. But you are also welcome to send us a test message. Our public key comes pre installed in GPG Keychain and includes our email address.
All the best,
Steve
