GPG Mail: Email Service Provider - Gmail
While using GPG on a mac & attached to Apple Mail can the service provider Gmail see our emails ?

welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry to hear you are having problems using GPG Suite.
This is a question that can not be answered with yes or no as it is a bit more complex. It depends on a few factors. If you use IMAP all your drafts are stored server side. That is why in Mail > Preferences > GPG Mail you find a setting
Encrypt Drafts
. If this is enabled the fact that drafts are stored on server is no longer a problem and your email provider is no longer able to access your encrypted email drafts. The downside of course is that you may not be able to continue your draft on mobile if you are not using an OpenPGP implementation on iOS / Android.Hope this helps,

You can configure Apple Mail, iOS, and iPadOS to store Drafts locally. That avoids the mail provider seeing drafts.
