Decryption failing
Hi, using Mac OS Big Sur Version 11.4.
(New user) When I try decrypting, error code = 152 saying ''decryption failed'' or error code = 38 ''decryption failed: other failure! (unexpected error) comes up. When I create my own message to encrypt and then decrypt it is successful and works fine (says ''trusted signature''.) I am unsure what the problem is here? Using text edit (.txt).

welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry to hear you are having problems using GPG Suite.
Can you find out how the problematic message was created? This error often shows if formatting formats are used like doc or rtf which break OpenPGP messages.
To exchange OpenPGP messages please use .txt file format. For keys you can use the key servers or if that is not an option also use .txt or .asc file format.
