Hey Steve,

Thanks for helping me setup GPNP on Mac OS.

I did the “certificate” install in iOS and iOS Mail shows the encryption controls but does not allow me to encrypt the outgoing email or decrypt messages. Do you guys have any ideas?

    Hi 210whiskey,

which software are you using on iOS and how did you transfer the sec/pub key of yours?

    Best,
    Steve

Actually, the certificate I installed on the iPhone was a S/MIME certificate, so that does not really apply to what we are discussing here.

So far, I have not found an easy PGP solution for Apple Mail. I see recommendations for one or two apps that can send and receive PGP, but using Mail - as far as I can tell.

CanaryMail is a standalone email client with OpenPGP support. iPGMail is an app that adds OpenPGP to iOS but due to iOS limitations no app really integrations with the default Mail.app.
