Virtual disk creation and management
Hi All. New to GPG. Used to work with PGP up until ver. 10. but really dislike Symantec software.
After all my reading and research. it seems the best option is GPG as a replacement. the only issue that I have is that I need a virtual disk. the only other thing that I could find is VeraCrypt. but I don't like the fact that it depends on FUSE to work on a Mac. and the encrypting and decrypting of files using GPG is not ideal to work with 100's of files at one time.
So. finally. the question is. Is there any way to have GPG handle the creation and management of disk?.
Thank you.

Hi,
unfortunately virtual PGP disks are a proprietary solution of PGP Corp. (Symantec now) and thus GPG doesn't support them. There's also no known solution for GPG replacing it. If you only operate on Macs you could use macOS Disk Utilities' built-in solution using encrypted sparse bundles/dmgs protected with a passphrase.
