Hello.

This is not my first time trying to generate a new key pair, I have a couple already that I use quite regularly.

I'm trying to make a tutorial video, and each time I try and create a 'new' key pair, I'll fill out the information and click 'generate key pair'.

Nothing happens when I do this, it just goes back to my key ring and shows me all the ones I already have. Any information would be very appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi Ryan,

can you please copy all version info as described here into this discussion.

If the issue persists, please open console.app and see if you find any related messages when this is going on.

    All the best,

    Steve,

I think I've fixed the problem. It would seem my software was just out of date! Ha, silly mistake, thank you for leading me in the right direction. Cheers!

No problem. Glad, this is solved for you. You do want to update to OSX 10.10.2. It contains pretty important security fixes from apple side. And then update to GPG Suite b6 from our homepage.
