Trusted/Untrusted Keys

Hi,

When I receive an email from someone who I have their PGP key for it shows that it has been signed. Very nice!

However, it does not give me any indication if it is a trusted or untrusted key. If I click on the icon, it shows me the status of the cert. Is there a way to have gpgp provide an indication of the status of the key without having to click the icon?

Thanks,
Bob

    Hi Bob,

thanks for getting in touch about GPG Suite, and for passing this suggestion along! We have an open request for better reflection of the owner-trust in GPGMail and I've added your comments and vote to it.

There's quite a few aspects of the Web of Trust we yet need to implement much better and move it's aspects into some nice UI which is understandable to the user.

    All the best,
    Steve

    Steve,

Thanks, let me know when it is available. I would be happy to be beta tester.

Will sure do. I'm not sure how soon we'll be able to tackle this, but can assure you, key management is on our todo.

I'm closing this discussion. If you need further assistance or have questions you can re-open this discussion here or open a new one any time. And we'll announce here as soon as the feature is ready for testing.

    Best, steve
