Trust is not available as a column in GPG Keychain, keys cannot be sorted by trust. I therefore suggest to add a column 'trust'.

GPG Keychain version: 1.2b5 (1010b).

    Hi Martin,

thanks for getting in touch about GPG Suite, and for passing this suggestion along!

Ownertrust, Validity and Web of Trust are three elements that are connected. We do show the validity column by default. If you adjust the ownertrust of a key the validity changes. E.g. try to set Ownertrust for a key to Ultimate, validity will change.

There is currently still a problem with the other Ownertrust states not being differentiated in Validity. We use those color bubble to indicate validity and currently Marginal ownertrust has the same validity as unknown. This isn't good UI and we do have an open ticket for that problem.

In the pending proposal all ownertrust states would have a Validity UI counterpart, thus sorting validity would also reflect precisely the ownertrust state.

I've added your comments and vote to the ticket (one of the factors that helps determine what we add to our software is the number of people that have requested a given change). We'll keep your input in mind as we plan future GPG Suite releases; for the time being at least I'm sorry to disappoint!

Due to the above situation once that is resolved, there should be no need for another column.

Let me know what you think.

    All the best,
    steve
