Bad mannered update and price

Hello,

i updated my GPG Suite as often via macOS update. There was no notifications that next update will stop working until you pay. I dont usually visit developer website when update arrives, so i did not see any notifications, warnings and so on.

This update behaviour is unacceptable. What would be ok? Make an update with huge pop-up that will say "since next version this software will become paid!".

Next, the pricing. 30$ is not that much, but quite enough for such a small piece of software. As developer i really respect the job you have done, but it is really should not be that expensive.

Moreover, there are some entire mail clients with pgp support that worth less than plugin. Im talking about https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/canary-mail/id1236045954

Also, i really dont understand what im paying for. 30$ per month? Per year? Lifetime until you decide to update another component and make it paid and ruin all other components that were bought?

   We sincerely apologize that the introduction of the GPG Mail Support Plan wasn't communicated as clear as we had hoped. We can absolutely understand if that frustrates you.

   To sum up the most important points about GPG Mail 3 and the Support Plan:

   • GPG Mail trial will work for 30 days with no restrictions
   • After 30 days you will still be able to read all of your encrypted emails - GPG Mail will no longer encrypt/sign or verify emails
   • Once you have purchased the GPG Mail Support Plan, you will receive updates of GPG Mail 3 until the next major version is released which can but doesn't have to coincide with the next major macOS release but not more often than that. Special prices will be available for upgrades

   We would really like to see you stay, but want to assure you that even if you don't like our offering there are many alternatives available. The encryption technology which is used in GPG Suite is not a proprietary one, so you are not reliant on our tools to decrypt your existing emails. There is no lock-in. In additon all of our source code is available publicly.

   i still havent found a place where you explain if your support plan is per mont, per year, or what... I have seen the question in many places.. whay cant you fix this key piece of information

   so disapointed
