I just stumbled upon this great project to get GPG mainstream and I thought maybe through use of their API ( it would be possible to integrate the GPG keychain with their service to make the use of GPG more attractive for more people?

    Hi Wenzel,

we are very aware of and watching it evolve. Should it arrive in stable or beta state and open for the broader public, we will consider adding support in GPG Keychain Access.

We've a ticket for this problem:

It would be super cool to see this integration. Seems like it would be trivial to support it. The only problem is that keybase is invite only. That seems non-inclusive.

Yes, by now keybase has arrived in beta state. I have no idea when they will go stable and public. But once we see that state, we'd sure like to see this integrated.

Closing for now. We'll reopen as soon as we have news regarding this.

    All the best,
