Encrypted "container"
I am using GPG a lot for encrypting my backups, and it does wonderful job. I am thankful for the easy access through the Service menu. But I would like if it was possible to encrypt without having to “duplicate” the folder. Is it possible to use GPG like an encrypted container? Similar in functionality to a .dmg file?
It could be me that is missing something or doing it wrongly. Or completely missing the point about what GPG is for, mainly for private communication and NOT for file backups.
Perhaps a possible feature in a future release.
Thank you guys for the great work!

Hi csj,
while this feature sounds nice, it's not what gpg is meant for. For that purpose you'd be much better off, if you'd use EncFS. For example see here: http://www.maketecheasier.com/install-encfs-mac/
There are other tutorials. Sadly there's no simply UI solution. Depending on your skill level this could be a blocker or a non-problem.
All the best,
steve
