Received encrypted emails no longer are decrypted automatically
GPGmail
Mac OS X: 10.10.1 (14B25)
MacGPG2: 2.0.26b2, 694b
GPG Keychain: 1.2b2, 954b
GPGServices: 1.10b1, 703b
GPGPreferences: 1.5b1, 704b
GPGMail: 2.5b3, 797b
When encrypted mail arrives I can see that it is encrypted. I can use the "Open PGP: Decrypt Selection to New Window" service to view the message. Is there a way to decode the message in place in the e-mail?

Hi Mike,
are you using Mail.app with GPGMail? Then all incoming encrypted mail should automatically be decrypted.
So the first question is if you are indeed using mail.app. If so, what happens once you select an encrypted mail which you have received?
All the best,
steve

Steve-
I am using mail.app.
Previously when I selected an encrypted e-mail, it decrypted.
No nothing happens automatically. If you send me an encrypted e-mail I will see what happens at this moment.

I am seeing the same behavior. Incoming messages that I receive are not decrypted.

Hey Mike and Derek,
could you both please install https://releases.gpgtools.org/nightlies/GPG%20Suite-1106n.dmg
and let me know how that behaves? What happens exactely when you select an encrypted mail?
It should either be automatically be decrypted or pinentry should show up and ask for your passphrase.
If nothing happens, please open console.app and see if it spits out any GPG Suite / GPGMail / MacGPG related errors.
All the best,
steve

Not compatible with my version of Mail. (Disclaimer: I'm on the bleeding edge running a developer-release, 8.2(2064)).

On opening the mail app I was greeted with this message:

Ok my bad.
We have to take a little more complicated route:
Then retry. And: If still nothing happens (aka mails do not get decrypted), please open console.app and see if it spits out any GPG Suite / GPGMail / MacGPG related errors.
Regards,
steve

Steve-
No discernible change. This is what Console shows me for today for gpg-home-fixer.log:
This is what I get for gpgmail-uuld-patcher.log:
For shutdown.gpg.agent.log:
For gpgmail-uuld-patcher.log
I hope this helps.

Re-attaching Michael's screenshots in PNG format for easier processing.

FYI, my logs are similar. Nothing related to the "event" of opening the message that is encrypted, just the various messages from installs/updates of the packages to the nightly builds.

Hi Mike,
would it be possible to have the eml file sent to us for further investigation? That would make it much easier to debug this issue.
To export an email as eml, simply select it, press CMD + SHIFT + S and as type select "Raw message" (or something with raw in the name)
Best send it to team @ gpgtools.org

Your encrypted e-mail arrived just fine, automatically decrypted. It was marked both as encrypted and signed.
