Do I need to uninstall previous version before installing beta
Do I need to uninstall my previous version of gpgsuite in order to install the yosemite beta, or is it ok to just install over the old version?

Hi Joe, generally you can just install the new version of any existing. If you are running into trouble uninstalling might be recommended.
By now GPG Suite Beta 4 has been released. Please install that latest build.
