There seems to have been lost connection starting from creating new keys. There the no email addresses visible in the dropdown menu in GPG Keychain.app when trying to generate new keys.
In the mail.app there are no icons for encryption nor indication of status for the encryption.

welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.

The first beta of macOS 10.13 High Sierra has been released by Apple in early June. GPGMail will be disabled upon upgrade. We're already looking into the internal changes.

This KB-article has details as to why GPGMail becomes disabled after major macOS updates.

For any productive work and if you rely on using GPGMail, you should refrain from updating to the pre-release version of macOS. At this time we cannot say, when a first test version for macOS 10.13 High Sierra will be available.

All the best,

For 10.12 (Sierra) GPG is still in Beta, over 15 month after the first MacOS Beta was released by Apple. It's now approx. 3 months since the first beta of High Sierra (10.13) and there is not even a beta yet.

I completely understand that you guys do this not for living, in your spare time and I highly appreciate your efforts. But I hope you understand that this is a really bad thing for customers.

Thomastag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/434746882017-09-27T12:59:34Z2017-09-27T12:59:34ZGPGMail: Encryption option not visible in Mail 11.0

Hi Soren and Thomas,
