GPGMail: Slow opening new email or opening reply to screen

The plugin causes Apple mail to be slow when I try to open a new email window or when I press reply. It takes like 5 sec to open that window.

Expected
It to be faster

   Hi Tom,

   welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.

   Are you using an S/MIME cert or only OpenPGP? In case you are using S/MIME could you try to export, delete and re-import the S/MIME cert and see if that improves the situation?
