GPG Keychain: can't decrypt

can’t get decryption to open in new window so i can enter security code. what am i doing wrong?

    Hi Brian,

    welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.

    I am not yet sure, about the issue you are seeing. Could you explain in more detail what you are trying to do and which exact steps you take to achieve that.

    In order to decrypt, could you try the following: copy paste the cyphertext to a new TextEdit window and try decrypting from there.

    Also please restart your mac and repeat the procedure.
