Generate new key failed
I Have tried to run the GPG Keychain new key and keep getting
the message that: Generate new key failed!
Code = 0
Error text:
gpg: problem with the agent: End of file
I have installed the nightly build (Version 1.2b1 (abee943)
(939n)) and keep getting same message.
Any ideas?

Hi Leroy,
could you please check Console.app for any errors related to gnupg?
You might find a crash log or something similar.

Hi Luke
I've tried to ge the software to work with the latest update. The mail plugin disabled message no longer appears but gpg programme still fails to generate new key. I've gone into the console logs and pulled any crash reports related to gpnugp. Any assistance would be great

Same problem. After over 1 hour of generating a 4K bit pair, I looked into the console and there were lots of crashes of gpg2 during execution with EXC_BAD_INSTRUCTION (SIGILL), but the GUI didn't say anything about it. I attached the crash trace, I'm on OS 10.10.1 Yosemite.
Also I noticed some Keychain related issues:

Hi DB, Leroy,
this problem should be fixed in Beta 3 of GPG Suite.
Could you please download and install that from https://gpgtools.org
It would be great if you could let us know if that fixes your problem.
Thanks

Hi Luke Le,
the problem is fixed in the current Beta, I tried it right after release of Beta 3 ;-) Thank you very much.
By the way: I thought my private/public keyss were lost after the non-functioning versions in Yosemite, but luckily (and happily) all data, keys and settings became available again! So to every reader: Just use the current version and support the devs :-)
Best regards
