I use OpenPGP and S/MIME. When I compose a new mail, the encryption defaults to OpenPGP. I want S/MIME to be the default choice, so I don’t have to switch for most emails manually.

Expected
A preference for default encryption service setting

    Hey Tim,

welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.

You can make S/MIME your default option. This KB-article explains how to activate this setting.

Let me know if that worked.

    All the best,
    steve
