1) In the terminal run: defaults write org.gpgtools.gpgmail UseOpenPGPInlineToSend -bool YES
2) Reboot MacBook Pro
3) Send signed message
4) Check email

Expected
That when I checked the email that the email would have an inline signature, instead of an attached signature.

    Hey Andy,

welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.

This is a known issue: Inline PGP is currently not supported at all, PGP/MIME will be used instead. [#894]

We have a ticket for this problem. I connected this discussion with the existing ticket. That means, should this discussion get closed, it will be re-opened as soon as the ticket is closed. That way you'll stay in the loop and get notified as soon as we have news. Feel free to open a new discussions should you run into further problems or need assistance.

    All the best,
    steve

Just out of curiosity: Is there a specific reason you prefer to use Inline/PGP over PGP/MIME?

Thanks Steve! My company adds a footer to all outbound email, which breaks non-inline signatures.

Thanks for elaborating. Sorry, this will not work atm. Hope you can find a workaround until inline/pgp is available.

    Dear all,

In my case, using inline is required for cross client compatibility.
Most of my contacts are using Plugin Enigmail with thunderbird and can't easily decrypt my mails if they aren't sent with the inlined option.

    Hey Mathieu,

thanks for the input. Enigmail should fully support PGP/MIME. If that is not the case, could you please let us know which versions of Enigmail and Thunderbird are being used by the contact reporting that your PGP/MIME mails are not properly decrypted.

    All the best,
    steve
