Draft window cannot be closed

Similar issue reported in https://gpgtools.tenderapp.com/discussions/beta-feedback/1103-draft... (though that report seems to be after sending)

Steps to reproduce:

  • Compose an email
  • Trigger prompt for passphrase unlock
  • Cancel out of prompt
  • Deselect signing for this message
  • Sending mail now triggers passphrase prompt despite signature being deselected, OR "You don't have a trusted cert that matches this address" message if sending from unsignable address
  • Compose window no longer responds to window close (red x flashes but window remains onscreen until Mail quit)

Reasons for deciding to not sign an email might be that you don't have a key for the currently selected sending address, or that you prefer to not send a signature to this recipient.

I have 2.6b2 and updates are set to pre-release channel as per abovementioned support question. This issue is reproducible, happy to help debug further.

    If this bug is triggered, OSX Mail may require force quit to close the compose window.

    Hey Chris,

    thanks so much for taking the time to file this report and bring up your findings in such a structured way.

    I reproduced the behavior exactely as described using OS X 10.11.5 and our latest nightly build and created GPGMail ticket #873.

    I connected this discussion with the existing ticket. That means, should this discussion get closed, it will be re-opened as soon as the ticket is closed.     this issue has been fixed. If you want to test the fix, please download our latest nightly GPG Suite. That page also has sig and SHA1 to verify the download.
