GPGMail is not yet compatible with OS X 10.11. We are working on
that.

We have a ticket for this problem. I connected this discussion
with the existing ticket. That means, should this discussion get
closed, it will be re-opened as soon as the ticket is closed. That
way you'll receive a notification. Feel free to open a new

what i remember about the transition to yosemite it took months and

b, that is not correct. On 10.10 there was a working beta from
day 1.

So until 10.11 is released let's try to relax and have a tea. We
are not artificially delaying things here.

Remove the bundle and wait is the current solution. You can use
GPGServices as a workaround for the time being.

Stevetag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/378665752015-09-11T22:09:49Z2015-09-11T22:09:51ZEl Capitain Support

is it possible to decrypt message attachments using

today we are announcing the very first alpha of GPGMail for OS X
10.11 El Capitan.

Please note that this is pre-release software, so make sure you
backup your system prior to installing - use at your own risk.

GPGMail El Capitan (a1):
https://releases.gpgtools.org/nightlies/

Got feedback? If you encounter trouble or glitches, please do
get in touch. Make sure to select "Beta-Feedback" as
Category-option and provide additional info like screenshots,
screencasts or crash-logs:
https://gpgtools.tenderapp.com/discussion/new

Known Issues:

GPGMail setting "Automatic downloads" can not be disabled
#850

when re-opening an unencrpyted draft with "Encrypt drafts"
setting active, the mail will be encrypted #851

Fullscreen: when creating a new mail, switching to fullscreen
and sending that mail, you'll be stuck on a black screen #852

Could you please check if you downloaded Alpha version?
There are two GPGMail in the nightly link. bottom link is for El
Capitan, which works fine to me.

if you are experiencing any trouble please do open separate new
discussions here:
https://gpgtools.tenderapp.com/discussion/new

Make sure to select "Beta Feedback" as category and answer all
the default questions. Also please always paste the version info
from GPGPreferences (just click on any version number and it all
will be in your clipboard. You only have to cmd + v to paste the
info then).

If you run into any crashes, please do attach the crash-log so
we can have a closer look and investigate.

I'm closing this discussion as it initially was about having a
10.11 compatible version (which we now have).

@dee liteful and all others who are still seeing crashes with
the first 10.11 GPGMail a1 release: To ensure a working status on
10.11 for now, please install the nightly GPG Suite and after than
run the GPGMail a1 both from https://releases.gpgtools.org/nightlies/

We are working on making this easier and ensuring GPGMail will
not crash on 10.11. We'll announce news as we have them on our
homepage.

Thanks for all the input so far and happy to hear from you about
the 10.11 pre-release in new discussions.

Kindly,
