Hi Jeanmaire,
welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.
The GPGMail.mailbundle file you are referring to is the actual GPG Mail plugin. It is unrelated to your emails which are stored in a different folder.
if you are looking to restore or import emails from your backup this Apple KB should cover that:
https://support.apple.com/us-us/guide/mail/restore-mailboxes-and-th...
Let me know if I misunderstood your question or can help with anything else GPG Suite related.
All the best,
Steve

Hi Steve,
Thank you for replying and citing a link for help.
In tghe mean time, I have resolved the problem more per instinct
than by proceding logically.
I started an older version of Mail with the account settings valid before
I had to cancel it. When I opened it, all the mails which I had
tried to recover from the Time Machine were shown. They had
been stored I don’t know where.
Probably the mails are visible only, if the settings of the account,
in particular the password, are the same sthose with which
they have been stored. Right?
Thanks and best regards

Hi Peter,
good to hear you were able to get back to your old messages. If you are using IMAP for your emails, the email and folder structure will be identical on any device you setup your email. The requirement for that would be the correct password for your email account as other wise you won't be able to contact the IMAP server.
Glad this is solved for you. I'm closing this discussion. Should you need further assistance or have questions you can re-open this discussion here or open a new one any time.
Best,
Steve
