to decrypt the message you it doesn't matter if the user sent
you the email from another address since the message is encrypted
to you with YOUR public key.

Are you not able to decrypt the message?

Luke Letag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/141639332012-03-02T16:38:14Z2012-03-19T18:14:22Ztwo emails one public key?

Ahh, that clears up my misunderstanding. Now I am wondering if
something else was going on that threw me off the track. I was
setting up for the first time so things might have been temporarily
a bit unusual. I generated key sets several times so maybe that got
in the way.
I am unable to test for sure at the moment but will watch for it
happening again and test as is possible.
Thx.

kbrowntag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/141639332012-03-02T16:48:38Z2012-03-02T16:48:38Ztwo emails one public key?

It might also help to read the Getting Started guide, since this
topic can be really confusing at first.
