When I open the project with Xcode, I get the following message:

Garbage Collection No Longer Supported.

The project “GPGKeychain” uses garbage collection, which is deprecated in macOS.
Xcode no longer supports building or debugging applications that use garbage collection.
Choose “Convert to ARC” to update your project to use automatic reference counting.

Luckily the project still compiles, but at one point this should be moved to ARC.
Garbage collection has been deprecated for years now, but it's strange that I get the message that it's not supported anymore.

Anyway, so how are you building the project? Exclusively via command line?

Not really an issue, since I've been doing this anyway. but I'd like to know what the status is and how you guys are handling this.

Cheers,
K. C.

    Hi K.C.,

we do build everything on command line or rather have it built by our CI. It might also depend on the version of Xcode you are using.
We will certainly update GPG Keychain to use ARC sometime in the future.
