If anybody needs a temporary workaround to get mail working again (without GPG integrated), this worked for me.

Move or delete the folder "" in ~/Library/Containers/

Open Mail - OSX recreates the folder and Mail now starts up normally.

Hope this helps until a GPG fix is available.

Adding more info from another discussion:
I have exactly the same issue. Latest nightly installed. Mail app starts, does not crash, but no windows will appear. Only menu is available, but almost all menu items in Mail are greyed out. Cannot create New Viewer Window, New Mail, etc. App does not crash so no crash log.

    Hi Leigh,

which problem are you seeing? Could you please send a debug log from your affected machine: Open System Preferences > GPG Suite > Send Report. Check the box to "attach debug log". Since you already described your issue in this discussion, you don't need to add a lot of detail, but please do add the link to your existing discussion, so I can then merge your debug info with this existing discussion.

In case Mail app is not starting for you, could you please download and install our latest hotfix GPG Suite and see if that solves your problem.

    All the best,

P.S.: We would kindly ask you to create a new discussion, whenever you need assistance with GPG Suite, even if your problem looks similar to the one you are replying to. While the symptoms are often very much alike, the root cause often differs. Having separate discussions allows to focus better on your particular issue.

To proceed we have split your comment into a separate discussion.

Disclaimer: This is a development version which has not been thoroughly tested yet - bugs or crashes are to be expected. Thanks for helping us test.
