GPG Mail: GPGMail messes with remote image loading in Mojave

*** Note: This is for NON-ENCRYPTED messages. I am aware (and happy) that encrypted messages will not load remote content. :)

In Mojave, the current release build of GPGMail sporadically interferes with remote image loading. After Mail.app has been running for a few minutes, the “Load Remote Content” stops appearing on messages with remote content. I have no other plugins installed. Disabling the plugin and restarting Mail.app solves the problem.

Expected
Instead of this, I expect that GPGMail will not interfere with messages that don’t concern it!

I have noticed the same bug since I installed GPG Suite 2018.4. It appeared in MacOS 10.13 and is still there in 10.14 Mojave.

Since many years I have not enabled "Load remote content in messages" in Apple Mail . This means that a button with "Load Remote Content" appears top right above the mail headers. So, if I have an unencrypted mail and wish to load the images etc, then I push this button.

As Alex Ball writes, this button disappears after some time when using Apple Mail after installing (and paying for) the latest GPG Suite. If I quit and reopen mail it appears again. But disappears after some time and so forth.

Are the developers aware of this bug?
    Thanks!

    Trial-and-error gives the following:
As soon as I have read the first encrypted mail containing a URL, the phenomenon occurs. The button disappears after this and Apple Mail must be restarted.

    Hint:
It turns out that once I read an encrypted mail containing a URL, not just plain text, the button "Load Remote Content" disappears.

I just want to report that this bug remains in latest nightly build:
    2018-10-10 GPG Suite 2018.4 (2338n)
The button disappears after reading an encrypted mail contains a URL.

    Hi all,

would you mind downloading and installing our latest hotfix GPG Suite and see if that improves the situation?

GPG Suite 2349n and later should address this problem.

It might be necessary to re-activate GPG Mail in Mail › Preferences › Manage Plug-ins after installing the hotfix.

Disclaimer: This is a development version which has not been thoroughly tested yet - bugs or crashes are to be expected. Thanks for helping us test.
