welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.

GPG Suite 2184n nightly build and later will work: https://releases.gpgtools.org/nightlies/

2018.2 is being worked on with highest priority and will be released soon.

Let me know if the nightly does the trick and sorry again for the inconvenience.

Best,
Thanks for that.

mistamillatag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/454009342018-06-02T10:07:25Z2018-06-02T10:07:25ZGPGMail: Mail plugin inactive after machine upgrade

Welcome. 2018.02 will be out soon and you'll receive an update notice once it's available.

Stevetag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/454009342018-06-05T03:36:01Z2022-09-01T20:02:06ZGPGMail: Mail plugin inactive after machine upgrade

The thing is, in my case both machines were running 10.13.4, but after migration to the new machine it stopped working. It had been working on the old machine.

mrustadtag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/454009342018-06-05T21:10:43Z2018-06-05T21:10:43ZGPGMail: Mail plugin inactive after machine upgrade

Mark, to elaborate: GPGMail expired. So after the expiration date, it would vanish from Mail.app. But only after restarting Mail.app. So if you had not restarted Mail.app yet, it would continue to work.

2018.2 should now work fine on both machines. Is that the case?

Stevetag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/454009342018-06-06T07:17:22Z2022-09-01T20:02:06ZGPGMail: Mail plugin inactive after machine upgrade

Actually I have abandoned the old machine, but it does work on the new one.
I often go weeks without rebooting, so that is quite consistent. I was not
aware of any expiration and it was not apparent to me.

mrustadtag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/454009342018-06-06T22:29:23Z2018-06-06T22:29:23ZGPGMail: Mail plugin inactive after machine upgrade

Yeah and it obviously should not have been a problem in the first place. Sorry for the hickup.
