Version: 3.0.b4
Build: 1272b

But it doesn’t show the corresponding “version number” displayed on https://gpgtools.org/ (currently 2018.1)

GPGTools nightlies state last release is GPGSuite2090n whereas the corresponding “version” for that is 2017.3.

This could possibly be split into two separate reports.

Expected
1- Corresponding major version (2017.3, 2018.1) should show in the GPGMail preferences.
2- Nightlies should be newer than standard version.

to clarify: You can find all version info in System Preferences > GPG Suite Preferences. So there is a version number for GPG Suite which is currenty at 2018.1. And there is a version number for GPGMail, which is a component of GPG Suite and is currently at 3.0b4 for users on macOS 10.13.

Regarding the nightlies page: we are in the transition to a new URL for hotfix releases. The new page is here: https://hotfixes.gpgtools.org/

Once everything is setup the plan is to forward the old URL to the new page. The old page has some old version info. So it's outdated. But whenever we link a user a hotfix version we already link to the new page.

Let me know if this answers your question.

All the best,
