GPG Suite Preferences: Can't set default key
In System Preferences > GPG Suite, the first option is for setting a default key, and I wish to do so. However, the drop-down box for selecting a default key is disabled and grayed-out, with the message "No key found.
Why the default key is disabled and grayed-out?
What happened ?

Hi Filipe,
welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.
The debug log shows that your secret key is expired on 2018-01-02. Since you do not have a valid secret key, the option to set a default key in System Preferences > GPG Suite Preferences is greyed out.
This KB-article explains how to extend the expiry date of a key that will soon expire or has already expired.
That should make your key valid again and then you will also be able to select the key as default key.
Let me know if this did the trick. And you may want to upload your updated key to the key servers to have them reflect the new key state.
Best regards,
Steve
