GPGServices: GPGServices not responding

The right click menu contains several GPG services. However, choosing one of them such as “OpenPGP: Decrypt Selection to New Window” does not result in decryption. Instead I see a dialog menu that reads: “The “OpenPGP: Decrypt Selection in New Window” service could not be used because the “GPGServices” application did not respond to a request for services.”

When I try to open directly, I receive this dialog box: “You can’t open The application…because it is not responding.”

To have the encrypted file decrypted.

    Hi Steve,

welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.

This is a known issue and the problem is already fixed in the nightly build. The fix will be included in the next stable release of GPG Suite.

Could you please download and install our latest GPG Suite nightly build and see if the problem persists. That page also has sig and SHA256 to verify the download.

    All the best,

Disclaimer: This is a development version which has not been thoroughly tested yet - bugs or crashes are to be expected. Thanks for helping us test.
