MacGPG2: GPGUpdater runs even when "Automatically check for updates" is off
It might not do anything once it launches, but it's still annoying, because my mac tells me whenever an executable launches.
Expected
If automatic update checks are turned off, the updater shouldn't run.

Hi Tim,
this happens because out updater is launched via a launch agent item. We will have to find a way to disable and enable it, based on the setting.
I have created a ticket for this issue and you will be automatically informed if we make progress on this issue.
