this the window that pops up after i try to decrypt a message and it freezes my text edit program for about 30 seconds then this window comes up———————————————The “OpenPGP: Decrypt Selection” service could not be used because the application did not respond to a request for services.

i expected to see a written out message after decrypting the selected pgp message

    Hi Vic,

welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.

Don't worry about bothering. This is a highly annoying bug which we will need to address.

We have a ticket for this problem. I connected this discussion with the existing ticket. That means, should this discussion get closed, it will be re-opened as soon as the ticket is closed. That way you'll stay in the loop and get notified as soon as we have news. Feel free to open a new discussions should you run into further problems or need assistance.

As a workaround, could you restart your mac and retry to decrypt. Does the hang then persist?

    All the best,
