Which of our tools is giving you problems? GPG Mail

Attach a screenshot of the version info for all installed components (how to: https://gpgtools.tenderapp.com/kb/faq/where-can-i-find-version-info...):

Note, I was using a stable release of GPGTools and pulled the most recent beta to see if this problem has been addressed.

Mac OS 10.12.5
GPG Suite 2017.1b3
GPGMail 2.7b3

Describe your problem. Add as much detail as possible. When using Mac Mail and GPG when composing a message I am frequently being interrupted to enter my passphrase. My expectation is that I should be asked for the passphrase when initiating an action like sending an e-mail (I sign by default and do not store my passphrase in the keychain for added security) or attempting to read an encrypted e-mail. I'm not sure what action is happening to cause the request for the passphrase to occur. Is there a way to determine why GPG is periodically asking for a passphrase? When doing nothing other than composing an e-mail?

What did you expect instead I would finish composing my e-mail and be prompted for the passphrase when signing

Describe steps leading to the problem.

Are you using any other Mail.app plugins? No

I have exactly the same problem: in the middle of composing (typing), I suddenly find I am typing my sentences in the passphrase box.
I have not found a trigger for the pop-up of the passphrase box, sometimes it shows up 4 times in one minute, sometimes it does not show up for 10-15 minutes.
The box also sometimes pops up when I have switched to a totally different window (browser, other).
Not a show stopper but annoying.

Awesome sauce. My searching didn’t find the issue but I expected I wasn’t the only one. I’ll watch the ticket you referred to and thanks for the update.
