<p>welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.</p>
<p>There have been improvements which where commited recently to provide better password limits consistently: <a href="https://dev.gnupg.org/T3254">https://dev.gnupg.org/T3254</a></p>
<p>Meanwhile could you use the following command in terminal.app and see if you are able to migrate to a shorter password? The new limit is 250 characters so anything below that will be fine.</p>
<p>PINENTRY_USER_DATA=USE_CURSES=1 gpg --change-passphrase Key-ID</p>
