Unusable Key Error after prolonged expired key
After one of my keys expired and I then extended the expiration date, I get this Error every few seconds when I try to send an email encrypted with this key.
Here's the error:
gpg: 03080E4AD6E2FAAE4C810B34073754EDB939D605: skipped: Unusable
public key
gpg: -&5: encryption failed: Unusable public key

Hey Cal,
welcome to the GPGTools community support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.
Have you restarted mail after updating your key? If yes, please restart your mac and see if the problem then persists.

Important note
You are running an old version of macOS.
We recommend to update to macOS 10.11.6. Here is all information about Apple security updates. E.g. here are all security relevant fixes in 10.11.6 aka Security Update 2016-004.
