welcome to the GPGTools community support platform. Sorry you
are having problems using GPG Suite.

Please provide the version info of all installed components. You
can do this very easily by:

open System Preferences

open GPGPreferences

select "Updates" tab

click on any version number (that will copy all info to your
clipboard)

paste (⌘+V) e.g. into your support discussion

First, let's check if your key is ok:

open GPG Keychain

double click your sec/pub key

paste validity and capability info from the key tab (first tab)
to this support discussion

please paste the validity and capability info from the subkey
tab (third tab) to this support discussion

If your key has expired, please re-new the expiration date.

If your Subkey expired, please create a new subkey.

navigate to the subkey tab

click the "+" button below

confirm with "Generate subkey"

If you send a signed and encrypted test mail to yourself after
this, are you able to decrypt and verify the signature
successfully?

In case your key resides on the public key servers, please
upload your updated key, so that the changes become reflected on
the key servers as well.

Best regards,
Keychain, I found
my key had expired on 20151231. All I had to do was extend the
expiration
date, and it works, now.

Len Cooleytag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/392321652016-02-24T14:09:46Z2016-02-24T14:09:46ZNo option to sign/encrypt in mail

Perfect. Glad, this is solved for you. I'm closing this
discussion. If you need further assistance or have questions you
can re-open this discussion here or open a new one any time.

We have a ticket for the problem of expiring keys. Ideally we
should notify users about this.

Best, steve

Steve
