Hello,

Thanks for the awesome effort you put into this project! I have 2 little remarks so far about GPGMail.

I used to use S/MIME signing and encryption before GPGMail and Mail.app would sign every outgoing mail by default. With GPGMail installed it does neither sign with S/MIME or GPG by default. I always have to click some extra-clicks. I'd expect it to either respect the default settings of Mail.app to continue signing with S/MIME by default or sign with GPG by default.

In addition every time I sign an eMail with GPG I get asked for the password wether I store it in Keychain or not. That's annoying because "Store In Keychain" is selected but apparently it doesn't respect/reflect that setting.

Keep Up the good work!

best regards

Michael

    Michael,

thanks a bunch for your kind words and the feedback.

    1) default options: that is a bug in the current preview of GPGMail and will be fixed in the final.
    2) did you already have a look at the according tutorial? That might help find the correct setting for storing or (in your case) not storing nor remembering the passphrase.

    Best, steve

    Hey steve,

I'd like to follow the tutorial but there is no System Preferences > GPGPreferences pane :( I installed these steps:

    1.) Download https://gpgtools.org/early-birds/GPGTools-ML1.pkg
    2.) Close Mail.app
    3.) Install GPGTools-ML1.pkg
    5.) ENJOY!

    Hi Michael,

please try installing the GPGPreferences from our nightly page.

let me know if that helped.
