<p>sorry to hear you are having trouble using GPGTools.</p>
<p>Could you please visit our <a href=
"http://nightly.gpgtools.org/">nightly builds</a> and download the
latest GPGTools_Installer-latest.dmg file.</p>
<p>Run that on your system and see if the problem persists.
Basically if you are then able to activate the GPGServices on your
system. Since you've already found the "how to activate" kb-article
I'm not posting the link.</p>
<p>Let us know if that helped.</p>
<p>All the best,<br>

I have installed GPGTools-ML1 and it works with mail! But I have no

with Onyx. Maybe somthing is off in that direction on your

GPGTools_Installer-latest.dmg of 1Jan13 and in TextEdit under the
Edit tab, Services are still not listed.</p>
<p>I checked the Keyboard, services and all marked as required.</p>
<p>The shortcut key for encrypt did work!</p>
<p>I'm just hoping for a smoother interface :)</p>

GPGTools_installer-latest.dmg dated January 1, 2013. The services
still do not show up in the edit tab, BUT the shortcut keys for
encrypt and decrypt did work for me.</p>
<p>So, first type the test message in the Textedit app, highlight
the text and to encrypt, SHIFT/APPLE KEY/E and it will ask for the
key and will encrypt the text. Then you can copy and paste and put
the encrypted text into an email.</p>
<p>To decrypt, just the reverse. Copy the encrypted text to the
textedit app, highlight, SHIFT/APPLE/D and it will ask for the key
and decrypt.</p>
<p>I tried this going from the gpg on the Mac to pgp on a Windows
PC and back and it worked.</p>
<p>Totally clunky, not something you would want to use in a
production mode, but finally (sort of) working.</p>
<p>To the pgp folks -- how can we get the TextEdit SERVICES and
GPGService Menu to show up? Any thoughts?</p></div>Gib Mactag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/232837862013-01-03T01:04:16Z2013-02-09T22:11:19Z10.8: GPG Services not activated <div><p>Gib Mac, it doesn't look like the Jan 1st build is available

<p>the link to the nightly downloads with the latest code-changes
is <a href=

<p>It shows correctly for me. Please try the latest GPGTools
Installer and see, if you are then able to use the GPGServices.
GPGServices are a tricky beast. It integrates on a system level and
problems are extremely hard to reproduce and figure out.</p>
<p>Please let us know if the nightly improves your situation.</p>

<p>I think the quickest route to fix this would be to have a quick
remote access session.<br>
I'd login on your computer remotely using TeamViewer and fix your
problem right there.<br>
Since that's a very sensitive process please let us know if you
would consider trying that and a day and time that'd be good for
you.</p></div>Luke Letag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/232837862013-01-24T01:54:47Z2013-02-09T22:11:10Z10.8: GPG Services not activated <div><p>Hi Luke,</p>
<p>Yes, I agree. Could you please explain me what I have to install

<p>You might want to reply from your browser. Somehow when you
reply via mail, your reply ends up as a separate discussion. I just
had to merge that separate discussion into this existing one.</p>

<p>Sorry for the delay in answering your email, but I have had a
heavy workload since the beginning of this year!<br>
I installed Teamviewer, could you arrange an appointment ?</p>
<p>I answered by email as it is "private".</p>
<p>Have a nice week end,</p>
<p>Sébastien</p></div>sebastien.bouchettag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/232837862013-02-15T15:24:15Z2013-02-15T15:24:15Z10.8: GPG Services not activated <div><p>Sebastian, could you open a new discussion and set it to
private? We have 8 people watching this discussion so there's no
need bothering setting it to private. Just copy paste your last
reply and add your OS X version and we'll see what we can do.</p>
<p>Gibbs, since we can't seem to figure where the issue currently
is, I'd suggest a teamviewer session for you to. As Sebastian:
please create a separate private discussion, so we can get in
touch.</p>
<p>Closing this discussion for overview purposes.</p>
<p>Anybody else running into GPGServices issues, please also create
a new discussion.</p></div>Steve
