Open PGP Setting (web)
Hello, when I compose any new email, the Open PGP box is automatically checked and I do not know how to change the default to leave that box unchecked. Most of the correspondences that I send are not encrypted and I'm worried I will forget to uncheck the box at some point. I'm running version 2.0a3. Thank you for your help!

Hi Vlado,
could you please update your version of GPGTools which also includes a newer version of GPGMail.
This should solve your problem.

Just to add more info to this: No need to worry. You can only encrypt mails to people of whom you have the public key. If you don't have the pub key you cannot encrypt thus there's no danger of unreadable mails. The reason why the OpenPGP info might be active is because signing the mail might be active. But keep in mind: signing is just a way of telling the receiver that you (the owner of your sec key) are the author of the mail at hand. So those mails are signed and readable by anyone. They don't require decryption.
All the best. I'm closing this for now. If you have any further questions or need help: simply re-open this discussion.
All the best :)
