Greetings,
I use Mac OS X 10.7.2 (Lion), and the Mail program, with your GPGMail program (I've installed the GPGTools-20111224).
I've been generated my private key, and I can sign and encript the outgoing messages, and the other person can read it correctly.
But the problem is I can't read the encripted messages from the other persons. I've got their public key, added into the GPG Keychain Access, but in the Mail program shows an error, saying:
MESSAGE_BANNER_PGP_DECRYPT_SECKEY_ERROR_TITLE
MESSAGE_BANNER_PGP_DECRYPT_SECKEY_ERROR_MESSAGE
and the content is encripted...

Do you know what's wrong?

Thanks al lot in advanced :)

    Hi Josep,

Thank you for your feedback. This (not yet translated) error message means that you've received a mail that was encrypted for another secret key. Therefore, I assume that the other person is using the wrong public key. Maybe you've another (old) key? You should have a look at your own secret key and tell the others its unique finger print (or send them the correct public key).

    Best regards, Alex

    Greetings,

Thanks a lot, you iluminated me :)
It's correct, I sent a public key, very old, not the correct one.
Now all is working right :)

Thanks a lot and excuse me for my fault :(

hey Josep, no need to excuse yourself. This topic can be confusing. We do our best to make it as simple as possible. Most of the problems reported happened to me as well at one point of time.

Glad the issue is solved. :)

    All the best, steve
