Verify File Fails (probably because of legacy key)
MacBookPro9,1; Mountain Lion OS X 10.8.2 (12C3006)
GPGServices from GPGTools-ML1.pkg 2012-10-05
downloaded libassuan-2.0.3.tar.bz2 and
libassuan-2.0.3.tar.bz2.sig
from <
http://www.gnupg.org/related_software/libassuan/index.en.html#auto-...
>
or thereabouts.
Finder->Services->OpenPGP: Validate hangs.
On the Terminal, using self-compiled gpg 1.4.12 :
gpg --verify libassuan-2.0.3.tar.bz2.sig
works, as does Terminal using self-compiled gpg2 2.0.19 :
gpg2 --verify libassuan-2.0.3.tar.bz2.sig
The commonality is that (1) it's a legacy RSA key and (2) it
has not been certified. But hanging in the meantime?
