    Hi Jamie,

please download the latest GPGMail from and install it.

It contains a compatible version for 10.6.8.
Could you please let us know if it worked?

I had the same problem but the nightly didn't work on 10.6.8. It tells me I need at least 10.7
But it works with 1.4.1. just fine.

@Flo: so are you now setup correctly? Everything working, or do you need further assistance?

I have the same problem, and when I try to install GPG-latest.dmg, it says it's only built for OSX 10.7, Lion. So I still can't use GPGtools

Dear all: I'm loosing track of who has which problem. Some seem to be running fine. Not sure if that's the case for everybody involved in this discussion.

Let's close this one here. Please, if you still have trouble getting your setup right, please open a new discussion and link back to this discussion here for reference.
