Hi! (not sure if my previous message was properly sent, so please close this one if it is, sorry)

The mail app keeps freezing when attempting to decrypt a message, what I get only is the loading screen. When I go to the activity monitor of the mail app it only shows getting message ... (the original one that it's trying to decrypt) I have partially solved it by deleting and re-installing the gpgtools, however, it comes back after a while. Is this a known bug? if so, is there any quick fix? thanks!

Happy new year by the way ;)

Which version of GPGMail are you using (Mail.app > Preferences > GPGMail)? If it's not "a21" please click on "Check Now" or download the latest version from http://www.gpgtools.org/gpgmail/index.html

    Alex ,

thanks, I did update to a21, and it appears to be with some, not all, messages that are encrypted and range to up about 4 mb in size...

    It doesn't always happen

    Hi Alfonso,

this might be due to the fact that the released version spills out a LOAD of debug messages.
I'll send you a version which has debug messages disabled tomorrow.
At the moment it's also not possible to disable the debug messages.

    Hope that helps!

    Hi Alfonso,

sorry for the delay, I've been crazy busy the last few days.
I'm just about to build your special version, you should have it within the next 10 minutes.

Alright, alright, it took me 18 minutes for the build to complete :D
The new version doesn't log at all so it might be a lot faster when decoding messages.
Yet decoding large messages really takes some time so if you see the loading indicator for a message, try to select a different message and check if that loads fine.
If so, it only takes longer to decrypt, and didn't force mail to hang.
