yes it can. If you're using GPGMail 2.0 for 10.7 you can toggle
in the upper right corner.

Hope that helps.

Luke Letag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/204720482012-11-05T22:13:17Z2012-11-05T22:13:18ZGPGMail with S/MIME.

I'm actually using 10.8 and had setup S/MIME while GPGMail
wasn't working on Mountain Lion and was wondering if I could
configure both and toggle which one or sign with both, obviously
only encrypt with one!

dibtag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/204720482012-11-08T11:22:45Z2012-11-08T11:22:45ZGPGMail with S/MIME.

If you have the GPGMail for Mountain Lion preview then you can
just toggle between S/MIME and GPG, exactly. Signing with both
methods doesn't work however.

The preview is currently only available to donors, but will be
free for everyone again, once the stable release is out.

Luke Le
