Disable Encrypt button
I installed latest version GPG mail and I haven't problem with disable message on start mail. I run mail and compose new message and button for encrypt is disabled. I have in GPG keychain Access few public key, and file is normally encrypt over right button mouse and services.

I use system 10.7.5 and Mail 5.3

Hey Miroslav,
have you tried entering an email address of someone of whom you have a public key in your keychain? Looks like you are able to sign your mails so GPGMail appears to be working fine.
