thank you very much, you should already have received the
preview build now.
I was just wondering, is there any way to confirm a bitcoin
transaction and link it to an email address? Not specific to your
case, simply wondering.

Luke Letag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/201283802012-10-28T15:45:02Z2012-10-28T15:45:02Zdonated (web)

Was so eager to serve you, that I forgot to THANK YOU for the
relase. Works great!

You can review using eg. using blockchain.info which addresses
paid you.

gives you that list.

I could prove you which is my transaction by using the same
sender address again (e.g to transfer a bit to an other address of
mine),
but that would still not link to my e-mail address.

Thank you for the answer and the link that's certainly helpful,

Bitcoin is an interesting idea, but unfortunately not really
"user-friendly" at the moment.

Luke Letag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/201283802012-10-28T16:16:16Z2012-10-28T16:16:16Zdonated (web)

Agree.

I am actually working on bitcoin code exactly for this
reason.

I will update you on progress.

First thing which comes to mind is url-handling which simply is a
no brainer. Have a link which calls through to the bitcoin client
to initiate a tranfer to a specific address for a specific
amount.
The official client doesn't support that for Mac, but I really hope
to see that implemented.

Luke Letag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/201283802012-10-30T12:09:05Z2012-10-30T12:09:05Zdonated (web)

+1 on Bitcoin URI support. Tamas, if there's anything you can do
about this, please do so. :)

This will be an important step for bitcoin usage on the mac.

Steve
