Hi Tamas,
thank you very much, you should already have received the preview build now.
I was just wondering, is there any way to confirm a bitcoin transaction and link it to an email address? Not specific to your case, simply wondering.

Bitcoin is pseudo anonymous.
You can review using eg. using blockchain.info which addresses paid you.
http://blockchain.info/address/14rDamyE53BNLPSj4cku6ZXiW6xbBdMJ97
gives you that list.
I could prove you which is my transaction by using the same sender address again (e.g to transfer a bit to an other address of mine),
but that would still not link to my e-mail address.

Very good to hear! Let us know if you find any issues.
Thank you for the answer and the link that's certainly helpful, especially to get an overview.
Bitcoin is an interesting idea, but unfortunately not really "user-friendly" at the moment.

Agree.
I am actually working on bitcoin code exactly for this reason.
I will update you on progress.

Oh absolutely, please do so!
First thing which comes to mind is url-handling which simply is a no brainer. Have a link which calls through to the bitcoin client to initiate a tranfer to a specific address for a specific amount.
The official client doesn't support that for Mac, but I really hope to see that implemented.

+1 on Bitcoin URI support. Tamas, if there's anything you can do about this, please do so. :)
This will be an important step for bitcoin usage on the mac.
